Rough Cuts

When filming shots in different locations for our music video, we made sure that we had enough footage throughout. When it came to editing what we had filmed and putting it all together we discovered that we actually had too much footage, which isn't a bad thing as it meant that we could experiment more with transitions on the shots. There was footage that we didn't need, however we were lucky enough to have it there just in case.

When it came to showing our Rough Cut to the class to gain some audience feedback, we found out that their was a few things we needed to change or in so aspects, add. for example, as it was our rough cut, meaning we hadn't quite finished, some of our green screen shots didn't have a background to them. This was one of the main and only positive criticism that we came across. We also managed to gain a lot of positive feedback on the angles we used throughout and the few transitions we added. Our lip syncing was the the most common positive note we gained as many people described it is 'spot on'.
